Prostate Cancer Now I Know
Yesterday Fuzzy had a pleasant surprise when he arrived at the Radiation Oncology Center. Since it is the that time of year, a number of the players in the game have been taking off for various reasons. Yesterday we had a new substitute player. Coming in for Dave, Fuzzy was greeted by Kim.
Kim was the cute woman who if you remember, gave Fuzzy his tattoos for alignment. Fuzzy didn’t learn her name that day even though he is sure she told him. There was a lot going on that day and as you know he really does have a Fuzzy Mind. But Fuzzy immediately recognized her as the woman with the needle.
I do not know why Fuzzy never followed up and asked her name. I think it was because there was so much new information coming at Fuzzy during that time. Fuzzy is sorry for not following up.
Kim said she reads The Fuzzy Mind and sounded a little disappointed that her name had not been in the article. Fuzzy is sorry for not finding it and putting it in. Kim was the Radiation Therapist for the day and the PU-36 responded perfectly to her commands.
So now Fuzzy will list the complete team of players:
Fuzzy: the patient.
Dr. Jac: the cardiologist who noticed the increasing PSA readings.
Dr. P: the urologist who took the Biopsy and scheduled the Radiation.
Mary: the therapist that did Fuzzy’s CAT Scan.
Dr. G.: the short Oncologist.
Dr. I.: the tall Oncologist.
Dave: the first Radiation Therapist.
Kim: the tattoo lady and Radiation Therapist.
Ven: the Radiation Therapist.
Annette: Radiation Therapist and Dave’s replacement.
Marie: the Phlebotomist.
A number of Nurses.
My family.
JR who keeps me going and laughing. Probably the most important member of the team as far as keeping Fuzzy in one piece.
